Garth Shephard, Partner

Garth joined Salomon Smith Barney (now a division of Citigroup) in 1996 having previously qualified (ICAEW) with Coopers & Lybrand. He was involved in a variety of M&A transactions with an emphasis on the technology, media and communications sector.

In 1999, Garth was recruited to initiate and develop Andersen's technology, media and communications corporate finance team where he was instrumental in originating and executing many M&A and venture capital transactions, in addition to successfully integrating the TMT corporate finance team into Andersen's international TMT sector franchise. 

In 2004, Garth joined Pall Mall Capital, a London-based boutique investment bank and in 2006 he co-founded Opus Corporate Finance with Nigel McNelly.

Garth has a degree in Economics from Leeds University and is a member of the ICAEW.
