Newspaper Publishing was the publisher of the Independent Newspaper. Nigel McNelly worked over a number of years with the shareholder managers to raise private equity capital and in the arrangement of joint ventures with a number of European newspaper groups, including the ultimate acquirer of the business, Tony O'Reilly's Independent Newspapers.
